Bob is a Manager/Engineer with experience in numerous diverse projects, leading the execution of successful programs, consistently achieving milestones and delivering products on-time and on-budget with high levels of quality. Previous programs have spanned low speed to hypersonics and often involved large budgets.

Bob has the ability to interact effectively with a wide and diverse number of people to communicate on what needs to be accomplished and find consensus on how to get it done. He has a proven record of effectively planning tasks, identifying milestones and delegating responsibilities to meet milestones and objectives. As the task progress and problems arise, he has demonstrated the ability to monitor the situation and track what progress is being made, identify what needs to be done and take the action either personally of with others to move the task along to completion. Bob has successfully managed and completed a number of engineering projects that are diverse with different focus areas.
His past includes establishing and completing tasks with international partners. In the late 70's partnered with China on studies of propeller powered aircraft concepts. The International Study Group in the 80’s created a joint US/European team that progressed on vehicle and business concepts applicable to a future supersonic transport. A Government/Russia partnership included flight tests of the TU-144 to obtain data not obtainable in ground test facilities.
His career has included leadership positions in past technology development programs such as the design and successfull production of the DC-10, re-engining the A-4 Skyhawk, powered lift technology found in the C-17, open rotor technology in the 80’s, efficient supersonic vehicle concepts, the hypersonic national aerospace plane, subsonic transport energy efficient technologies (ERA) and supersonic low sonic boom technologies. Space and military programs included the Space Launch Inititive (SLI) program, the Intgrated Space Transportation Program (ISTP), and the Future Combat Systems (FCS).
He served on NASA's Aeronautics Advisory Council
